PinWheel Card

I have been seeing alot of PinWheels being used on layouts, banners, cards and in most scrapbook magazines. I love them but thought they would be so hard to make.

I was at a scrapbook retreat and during the weekend we had one of our card makers do a make an take of a pinwheel card. They are so easy to make. I will be making alot more of these for my layouts and cards.

I'm Back....and ready for some great posts....

Oh my gosh it has been so long since I have been online and checked my blog. I am so sorry for this... It has been such a crazy couple of months, Thanksgiving, Relatives visting, Christmas, New Years, Birthdays, School and Work. There we days that we did not know if we were coming or going. Well things are starting to slow down so that means I am going to get some down time to do some well deserved crafting. I can not wait to show you what I have done so far.

Ok let me show you a cute little fall card I completed. It was really easy I took a Martha Stewart Punch that did pumkins and leaves and added some fall color paper and you have a cute little card.

Birthday Invitations

I was so excited my neighbor came to me and asked me if I would make her daughters birthday invitations. Her sweet daughter Avery is celebrating her first birthday on Saturday. I was so happy to do it for her. So I decided to use my Sweet Treats Cartridge for the number ones, I also used stickles, and felt cupcakes for embellishments. I think they came out pretty good. And Avery's mommy seemed to also like them. Happy Birthday Avery!
See everyone at my next posting!

Happy 8th Birthday Card

My nephew turned 8 years old this June. I am not sure where the time has gone...I decided that this year I would try to make him a birthday card instead of running out and buying him one. I took my gypsy and used the Graphically Speaking cartridge and linked the number 8 together on a sheet of white cardstock. Using my cricut markers I printed this out.  Then using the best grouping i cut out the eights and laid them on top of some blue and yellow cardstock. I think it turned out pretty neat... I don't use the cricut markers that often but when I do remember to use them I really like how my projects turn out. I hope you enjoy the card.

Thank you Card

I had surgery last Friday and my office that I work for had flowers delivered to the house when I came home. So once I was feeling better I decided I would make them a Thank you Card. I used my new cartridge Straight from the Nest, then to add some something more I put jewels on the butterfly and stickles on the flowers and the buds. I stamped the words Thank you and then used by black souffle pen and traced the letters. The office enjoyed the card.
