Graduation Day Layout

This layout I used my Gypsy and Plantin School Book Cartridge and also used the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge.
I hope you enjoy the layout.

Picture Frame

Ok the product I used was a chipboard frame which I bought from Archivers in the Hot Spot section for a $1.99, Creative memories paper, Making Memories Scrapbook color brown paint, ribbon, flowers, brads and some modge podge.
It is a really simple  project to put together.
First you paint the frame front and back I also sponged the back to give it a rustic kind of look to it. while it is drying I traced the picture circle and used an exact o knife to cut the circle out. from there I uspread modge podge all over the  front of the frame and layed the paper down on top of it.
Once this had dried i used sand paper file to file the edges around the frame as well as the inside of the circle to make sure I had no paper fraying. I then i decorated the front of the frame with the ribbon, flowers and brads.
I hope you enjoy.

Retreat Time!!!

I am so excited it is Retreat Time again. And of course I have to get everything packed but I have not even started. I never know what to bring when I go on these retreats. I always seem to over pack and never use half of what I bring. But I am so afraid I am going to need something while I am gone and will be upset if I don't have it right then. I do think I have all the pictures I am going to scrap and if I finish all them I think I may make some cards. That is my new favorite pass time. I really enjoy making them. Well off to packing, I will diffently take pictures so I can post them to show everyone how our trip went and what projects we were able to complete. Have a great evening!!!

Thank you Card

I had surgery last Friday and my office that I work for had flowers delivered to the house when I came home. So once I was feeling better I decided I would make them a Thank you Card. I used my new cartridge Straight from the Nest, then to add some something more I put jewels on the butterfly and stickles on the flowers and the buds. I stamped the words Thank you and then used by black souffle pen and traced the letters. The office enjoyed the card.

Toast to the Couple

Toast to the Couple is a page layout that I did for my in-laws wedding album. I used Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title and then I got to use for the first time my new cartridge Straight from the nest and cut out the branches and flowers. I also used souffle pens to detail the flowers. I hopefully finish their wedding album before Easter.

New Cartridges!!!

I am so excited!!!! I just received three new cartridges that I got off of Paper Crafting Pro for only $15.95 each. I could not pass that deal by. I got Create a Critter which I have been wanting ever since it came out. Been borrowing my friends cartridges until I finally bought my own. I also got Straight for the Nest I have already lent it out to one of my scrapbook buddies to use... The last one I got was Sweet Treats I have seen so many cute cards using this cart I could not resist buying it. So I guess today I am going to be playing in my scraproom and hopefully I can get some projects done that I have been working on so I can show you all. Have a great Weekend!!!
